Capsules and tablets are both forms of medicine that you swallow, but they look and work a bit differently.
Hard Gelatin Capsules are made of a soft or hard shell that holds the medicine inside. The shell is usually made from gelatin and it breaks down quickly in your stomach, releasing the medicine faster. Some capsules can also be designed to release medicine slowly over time.
Tablets are solid and are made by pressing the medicine into a hard, round shape. They may take a little longer to break down in your body. Some tablets have special coatings to protect your stomach or to release the medicine slowly.
In short, capsules are easier to swallow and may work faster, while tablets are often cheaper and more durable.
